But what exactly is poetry? Here with us to help us answer that question, we have Emily Dickinson, author of the much-acclaimed "I'm Nobody - Who Are You?" - and someone who, I would just like to say, I have always admired, someone I would like to be like - though only in the skill of her poetry, as the whole spending my whole life in my bedroom wearing white dresses and writing poetry on little scraps of paper would probably get to me after a while, and I'm not so crazy on the whole not being recognised as a great poet until you've been dead for a million years bit.
Anyhoozle.
Over to you, Emily.
And there you have it. The expert has spoken - poetry is something that makes you feel cold and as though the top of your head has been taken off.
Thanks, Emily!

I had looked at your blog once before, but I love this new design! Love the pictures in this post, the third one made me laugh so hard. xD
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm glad you like the design. And I'm glad you like the pictures; I had fun making them.
ReplyDeleteI've tagged you, by the way! (I tried to leave a comment on your blog but it wouldn't load properly so I couldn't.) http://jotting-down-notes.blogspot.com/2011/05/tag-im-it.html
Well, you can't say that Ms. Dickinson didn't have interesting opinions. That's for sure. xD Nice new layout, by the way!
