Script Frenzy...

...starts in 16 days. Is anyone else excited? Because I'm excited. I'm a NaNoWriMo winner, but I've never attempted Script Frenzy before. I've never even written a script. (Well, in fifth grade I wrote a mystery script about a boy who lost his mind and his sister hired a detective to find it and at the end they found it at a school. Title: The Case of the Missing Mind. My half of the class presented it to the other. But, yeah, I hardly think that counts.)
My script will be sci-fi/fantasy, and hopefully it will be vaguely humorous. Today I wrote up a description of it, which I shall post here for your reading pleasure:
The Victor Von Dimwood Top Secret Home for Young Supervillains
Victor Von Dimwood isn’t the greatest villain ever. But he wants to be. When he hears of the prophecy that states that a child, an orphan, born in that little village over there, not that one, the next one over, you know, that one, will grow up be to either the greatest supervillain ever or save the world from unspecified evil doom he sees his chance, and he doesn’t hesitate. He races to the village before the rest of the Supervillain Council can get there, and he adopts all the children in the orphanage and takes them to his evil lair.
Now the hard part begins. He has to raise twenty kids, ages 4 to 11, in one small evil lair, without anyone noticing or getting blown up. He has to feed them, care for them, keep them away from the ray guns, and try to get them to stop asking for a dog.
Even with the help of his loyal henchman Hugo, Victor isn't sure he can make it.
*rubs hands together* This is gonna be fun.

  2. Ooh, just discovered this post - and that sounds like a great script! I have an idea for a plot (isn't half as good as this one) but I don't know if I'm going to do Screnzy this year because April happens to be the craziest month so far this year. (I know it's only the fourth month, but I'm sure it'll be one of the craziest.) You'll have to let me know how Screnzy goes for you and your amazing plot! :) (And nice, who doesn't love Victor Hugo references? You know, I still haven't read his books, so I should get on top of that.)

  3. @Leaf: Thank you for your kind words. They gladden my heart. XD I'll definitely be updating about my Screnzy on here, so you and all the other stalkers will know how it's going.

Um... Yeah, the names are a Victor Hugo reference, but I've never actually read anything by him. Right now I'm having trouble remembering what he actually wrote... heh heh...
